Cooper is President and CEO of Cooper Nelson & Associates,
Inc., a MBE certified, global business management and marketing
consulting firm. |
With
over 20 years of domestic and international marketing
and general management experience, Ms. Cooper has worked at
numerous world-class consumer products companies, including
Nestle, Tropicana and Seagram.
Ms. Cooper began her professional career on Wall Street and
transitioned into the consumer products industry as an associate
brand manager at Nestle. Having held positions of increasing
responsibility throughout her career, she has launched new
products in Latin America, led global marketing initiatives
in the United Kingdom and led an organization in Tampa, being
named President and Chief Operating Officer of the largest
private label juice beverage company in the United States
in 1999.
The 2002 Wharton Alumnae of the Year Award recipient, Ms.
Cooper has been featured in a number of industry publications,
including Beverage Industry, Working Mothers and Grocery Headquarters.
She is a frequent speaker on marketing related topics at a
variety of industry conferences. Ms. Cooper holds a M.B.A.from
the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business
and a B.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Notre
Dame. Active in the community, Ms. Cooper serves on the board
of directors of The Children's Home and has been an Adjunct
Professor of Marketing at the University of Tampa. |

Shawn
Cooper, Principal, Cooper Nelson & Associates, Inc., has over
15 years of international and domestic business experience.

A
former Captain in the United States Marine Corps and Foreign
Service Officer, she holds a B.A. in International Relations
from the University of Southern California and a M.B.A. in
Marketing and Finance from Northwestern's J.L. Kellogg School
of Management. Ms. Cooper's professional experiences have
taken her from Mexico City to Wall Street.
Bilingual and RIVA trained, Ms. Cooper focuses on financial
services, ethnic marketing and the public sector. |
